Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University hosted an international scientific conference “Georgia's Economic Security: Current Situation and Challenges,” dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of Academician Paata Gugushvili, an outstanding Georgian scientist and economist.
TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia addressed the conference participants. He said that Paata Gugushvili will remain one of the most prominent figures in Georgian economic science and that his scientific legacy had a significant impact on the development of the country's economic thinking.
The conference aimed to discuss prospects for Georgia's economic development against the backdrop of modern global challenges.
Within the framework of the conference, thematic sessions were organized, where participants presented scientific reports on the impact of global economic processes on Georgia's national security and sustainable development policy.
The event was organized by the Paata Gugushvili Institute of Economics at Tbilisi State University.
