A scientific conference entitled “Modern Principles of Diagnosis and Treatment of Atherosclerosis and Cerebrovascular Syndromes” was held at Tbilisi State University. TSU professors, Georgian scientists and medical doctors presented reports on the latest achievements.
The conference was organized by the Georgian Atherosclerosis Association and hosted by the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State University.
Maia Bitskinashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at TSU, emphasized the importance of the conference for both field experts and students. She noted that students will have the opportunity to learn from renowned Georgian scientists about the latest achievements in the field. “Our university is always open for innovations, scientific work. TSU serves as a focal point for the training of future scientists, and the hosting of such conferences is of great significance to us,” she noted.
Additionally, medical doctors of internal medicine, cardiology, radiology and related specialties participated in the conference. The event was attended by students enrolled in residency program who have expressed an interest in the field of cardiology.
