TSU Develops University Strategy for Artificial Intelligence

Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) has been working for several months on a university strategy for the development of artificial intelligence. To discuss the initial results, TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia, held a working meeting with the heads of the university administration and deans of faculties.

The participants discussed the new stage of the university’s development, with a focus on contemporary technological trends, and the prospects that the integration of artificial intelligence will present, particularly in the domains of education, research, and the enhancement of administrative processes.

“The proper management of artificial intelligence and its integration into the educational system is a major challenge that the university should respond to with modern approaches. The overall goal of TSU is to become a leading institution in the dissemination of knowledge, practice, and ethical use of artificial intelligence in Georgia,” said Rector Jaba Samushia.

The artificial intelligence strategy aims to introduce innovative approaches involving different faculties and structures. The next phase will involve the creation of specialized working groups, collaboration with international partners, and the active involvement of stakeholders.
