The joint Staff Week of the University of Jaén (Spain) and Tbilisi State University (TSU) was opened at TSU as part of the European Union's Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program.
The event’s main topic is the internationalization of higher education.
TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia, and Zviad Gabisonia, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, spoke with their Spanish colleagues about the importance of internationalizing education and exchanging experiences.
30 representatives from the University of Jaén, led by Vice-Rector Prof. José Ignacio Jiménez González, are participating in the week.
As part of the Staff Week, working meetings are being held with the participation of TSU professors to discuss new opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
