Tbilisi State University has announced plans to provide financial support for the publication of scientific journals, with the objective of enhancing the institution’s academic and research capabilities. This initiative will facilitate the advancement of scientific research, assist TSU researchers, and reinforce TSU’s standing in the global scientific community.
The Rector of TSU, Academician Jaba Samushia said: “The university’s objective is to promote the continuous development of science and research in order to create an environment that fosters innovation and diverse scientific fields. The university’s scientific journals serve as a platform for the exchange of scientific ideas and innovations in various fields, while also offering an opportunity for young scientists to publish their research papers. The allocation of funding to scientific journals represents a significant step forward in achieving this objective.”
Within the framework of the project, scientific journals will be created at the faculties, which will facilitate the publication of high-quality scientific works and the dissemination of research results to the public. The objective of the university is to ensure the functioning of journals that comply with international standards, thereby reinforcing the university’s standing in both national and international academic and scientific communities.
The funding will be applied to the provision of the resources necessary for the creation and development of both existing and new scientific journals.
