Academician Jaba Samushia, the Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, and Nodar Khidesheli, the Director of the Georgian Unmanned Technologies Association, signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The memorandum aims to promote cooperation between the parties, provide training in unmanned aerial vehicle technologies, share experiences, and popularize these technologies in education and science.
“It is crucial to educate students and employees in this area because technology is an invaluable tool in the educational process and at various stages of scientific research and teaching. In every way, we are contributing to the introduction and development of new technologies in education,” said Jaba Samushia.
Rector Samushia expressed his support for any ideas that help students and academics with new discoveries and teaching.
As part of the memorandum, a training course is planned that will allow TSU students to study the piloting and engineering of unmanned aerial vehicles. The course is being developed in collaboration with the TSU Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Center and the Georgian Unmanned Technologies Association.
Employees from TSU and the Georgian Unmanned Technologies Association attended the meeting.
