The 4th Scientific Conference “Vazha-Pshavela -165 - An Attempt at Modern Interpretations” was organized by the Department of New Georgian Literature at the Faculty of Humanities at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The conference was held in honor of the 165th birth anniversary of the Georgian poet and writer, Vazha-Pshavela.
Darejan Tvaltvadze, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, opened the event and welcomed the audience. Representatives from various Georgian higher education institutions participated in the conference and presented reports on topics related to Vazha-Pshavela.
