 Enrollment without passing the unified national/common master's examination (for foreign citizens or Georgian citizens who have received education abroad

 

Procedures:

 

1.Application: The applicant submits an application along with the required documents to be enrolled in TSU.

 

2.Review of Documents/Exam: TSU sends the applicant's documents to the relevant faculty. If deemed necessary by the specific faculty, the university appoints an exam or interview. Additionally, for English language programs, an English level certificate is required.

 

3.Letter of Consent: TSU provides the candidate with a letter of consent based on the results of the exam or interview. The candidate must then take this letter to the National Centre of Educational Quality Enhancement (Merab Aleksidze 1) and request recognition of the education certificate documents.

 

4.Recognition Process: In case of recognition, the National Center of Educational Quality Enhancement (Merab Aleksidze 1) will submit the documents to the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

 

5.Enrollment: Upon receiving the decree from the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, TSU proceeds to sign a contract with the candidate, after which the candidate is officially enrolled in TSU.

 

Enrollment Eligibility and Required Documents:

For Bachelor's Programs (Entrants and Students):

 

1.Eligibility Criteria:

 

  • Foreign citizens/stateless persons who acquired general secondary education in a foreign country (entrant).
  • Foreign citizens/stateless persons who study/studied and have received credits/qualification in a recognized higher educational institution of a foreign country (student).
  • Georgian citizens who have resided/studied abroad for no less than 75 days in one semester, and have obtained credits/qualifications in a foreign country, the highest level of recognition in accordance with the legislation of this country is granted in the higher education system.
  • Required Documents:
  • Provide a copy of your citizenship document.
  • Submit a copy of your complete general education certificate or its equivalent obtained in a foreign country.
  • A copy of the assessment certificate and credits received at a foreign higher education institution for persons who have studied / studied and have received credits in a foreign country recognized in accordance with the legislation of that country (In cases where individuals have pursued studies abroad).

 

For Master's Programs (Candidates):

 

  • Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates of master's programs who received relevant documents as proof of educational degree (Diploma).
  • Candidates of master's programs who enrolled in higher educational institutions without participating in unified national exams.
  • Foreign citizens who studied/studying and received credits/qualification in a foreign country at educational institutions in master’s programs recognized by state law.
  • Georgian citizens who have resided/studied abroad for no less than 75 days in one semester, and have obtained credits/qualifications in a foreign country, the highest level of recognition in accordance with the legislation of this country is granted in the higher education system.

 

2.Required Documents:

 

  • Provide a copy of your citizenship document.
  • Submit a copy of your diploma certifying the relevant higher education issued by a foreign country's higher education institution.
  • A copy of the assessment certificate and credits received at a foreign higher education institution for persons who have studied / studied and have received credits in a foreign country recognized in accordance with the legislation of that country (In cases where individuals have pursued studies abroad).
  • Documents made in a foreign language must be translated into Georgian and certified by a notary.
