Dissemination of iCREATE ELP results

On July 15, 2025, a public defense of master's theses was held at the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State University (TSU) for students enrolled in the English-language master's program 'Public Health'. The meeting was attended by academic and invited staff of the Department of Public Health, representatives from the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of Georgia, master's students, members of the Faculty of Medicine administration, and invited guests.

 

During the public defense, Tamar Baramashvili presented her thesis titled: "Utilization of Child Safety Restraints in Georgia: Assessment of Parental Attitudes and Current Practices."


Her experiential research project (ELP) was carried out within the framework of funding from the iCREATE project. The study's findings were presented publicly for the first time in Georgia to a broad audience. The research project generated significant interest and received positive feedback from attendees.
