TSU EuroClub extends a warm invitation to join an enlightening training organized within the framework of the cooperation of the TSU Faculty of Law and Young European Ambassadors (EU Neighbours East): "Reception of Switzerland Civil Law on the example of Turkey - Fundamental Concepts and Roman Foundations" will be facilitated by Sarp Şahankaya, the Assistant Professor at Çankırı Karatekin University, Faculty of Law (Turkey).
During the seminar, participants will:
- Gain insights into the fundamental principles and structure of Switzerland's civil law system;
- Understand how the reception of Switzerland's civil law in Turkey affects legal practices, jurisprudence, and societal norms;
- Join the discussion on the historical roots and influences of Roman law on both Switzerland's civil law and Turkey's legal system.
The meeting is held within the framework of Erasmus+ study mobility and on the basis of inter-university partnership.
