Visit in Babes-Bolyai University (Romania)

July 1-6, 2019 in the frame of EU Erasmus + project “Doctoral Programmes in Public Health and Social Science” DPPHSS, representatives of TSU (Prof. Nata Kazakhashvili, Associate Professor Nato Pitskhelauri and Invited lecturer Ketevan Tsomaia)  visited Department of Public Health, Babeș-Bolyai University (Romania), to attend training and administrative meetings with the other research coordinators from the project participant universities.

The purpose of the training was to receive information about legal and administrative structure of the PhD programs in Social Sciences and Public Health at the Babeș-Bolyai University and University of Medicine and Pharmacy, meet stakeholders working with vulnerable groups, identify future research studies opportunities at the partner universities in Georgia and Armenia and exchange knowhow.

In the frame of visit, was organized sightseeing of Cluj Gastroenterology Clinic, meetings with representatives of “Alcoholics Anonymous – Central European Region Program”, Roma community – Pata Cluj Project and NGO working with Children with disabilities.

Administrative gathering for project coordinators for debrief and planning next steps was organized at the end of training.
