Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine

The Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine was established in 1998 and has been functioning since 2005 (Tsinandali St. N9). Second, third and fifth-year students of both specialties are able to study in Georgian and English languages. The main scientific directions of the department are environmental pathology, oncopathology, the effect of hyperbaric oxygenation on the organism, nosoprofile.  The Department signed an agreement on cooperation with university clinics in Magdeburg, Germany and Bologna, Italy. It is planned to publish the Atlas of Abnormal Anatomy.
