Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia will host an International Academic Conference dedicated to Ivane Javakhishvili — the founder of Tbilisi State University — on April 23–24, 2026. The conference is titled Ivane Javakhishvili – 150.
The following thematic sections will be convened:
History of Georgia; World History; Georgian Literature; Literary Studies; Translation Studies; Linguistics; Georgian Language; Caucasian Studies; Ethnology and Anthropology; Archaeology; Philosophy; Art History and Visual Arts; Cultural Studies; Social Sciences; Economics and Economic History; Law and Legal History; Psychology; Educational Sciences; Medicine.
Prospective participants are requested to submit their abstracts no later than March 31, 2026 to the following e-mail address: javakhishvili150@tsu.ge
Participation format: In-person (oral presentation).
Venue: Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Georgia.

Please include the following information in a single combined document (MS Word):
1. Author’s full name in Georgian and English;
2. Abstract title in Georgian and English;
3. Name of the institution/organisation in Georgian and English;
4. Name of the faculty/department in Georgian and English;
5. Main body of the abstract in Georgian and English;
6. 3–5 keywords in Georgian and English;
7. Page format: A4;
8. Font: UNICODE (Sylfaen);
9. The body of the abstract should begin on a new page in 12 pt font size;
10. Photographs and other graphic images must be submitted in JPG format;
11. Abstract length: 300–350 words;
12. The cover page should be formatted in the following order:
• Author(s) — 12 pt font size, centred;
• Title — 12 pt font size, centred;
• Institution (e.g., Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University) — 12 pt font size, centred;
• Faculty/Department name — 12 pt font size, centred;
• Keywords;
• Abstract body text in Georgian and English — 12 pt font size.
