Human Resource Recruitment Agency is seeking to recruit suitable individual for the position of Finance and Administrative Assistant.
The candidate will be hired by HR Recruitment Agency and will be assigned to International Financial Institution.
Job Purpose
The Finance and Administrative Assistant will perform full range of financial and administrative tasks, including standard clerical activities as may be assigned by Supervisor. Will assist office with logistics and general office administration as required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates and handles requests for tax exemption, issuance, and renewal of clearances/permits, vehicle plates, and related documentation for relevant staff.
- Assists office in maintaining proper control of assets, updates inventory records and staff accountability reports; handles physical count of assets, proper tagging of equipment/furniture and assists Finance and Administration Team with disposal of unserviceable assets and prepares disposal reports.
- Collects quotations from suppliers and vendors, prepares purchase orders, requisitions, and receipts for the procurement of goods and services.
- Processes transactions through preparation of appropriate petty cash and disbursement vouchers or other relevant payment documentation.
- Provides support with office maintenance by monitoring office supplies and ensures timely replenishment of stocks.
- Maintains and updates relevant databases and records for finance and accounting operations of the office.
- Handles filling system for Contractors’ overtime, leave, vehicle log and related tasks, as needed.
- Performs back up support in absence of respective Finance and Administration staff.
- Provides other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor.
Relevant Experience and Requirements
- University degree in accounting, finance, administration or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an international organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Georgian.
- Good computer skills with sound knowledge of common word-processing, proficient in spreadsheets and required information technologies.
- Good analytical thinking and ability to work independently.
- Able to liaise and work effectively with internal and external counterparts.
- Ability to work with individuals from different cultural/national backgrounds.
