A delegation from Uzbekistan State World Languages University, led by Rector Prof. Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, paid an official visit to Tbilisi State University (TSU). TSU Deputy Rectors Nino Gvenetadze, Erekle Astakhishvili and Kakhaber Cheishvili attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the two universities signed a cooperation agreement and planned joint academic activities. Particular attention was given to teaching the Georgian language at Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
The parties also discussed student and academic staff exchange programs, which would further strengthen the universities’ partnerships and international cooperation.
